DOC WÖR MIRRAN can be very

SLOW

The “Slow” trilogy has at its core the concept of slowness. Everything about these three releases is slow. It takes a long time to record them. Once recorded, it takes forever to find a label to release them. Once out, they sell very slowly. Musically, they are all dominated by what one would call “ambient”, but in our case we prefer to refer to it as “slowbient”. No searing guitar solos, no drums, no sudden changes. Each track is simply called “Slow”, and are numbered in the order in which they were recorded. Many of the slow tracks have appeared on various samplers. Originally conceived by DWM fellow cohort Ralf Lexis, this project has taken over ten years to complete! Three releases, three formats, three labels.

Releases:

Based upon the original idea by DWM member Ralf Lexis, everything about the whole "Slow" project just reeks of, well, slowness. The music is slow, gradually building up ambient pieces, and, what else, it takes us ages to get the damn releases out! This one long track comprises the third in the three part series, spanning an incredible 12 years since the first release, "Slow". This third release completes the trilogy, three releases on three different labels and on three different formats.
